Zelf heb ik hierover nog niets gehoord in de 'conventionele' media maar dit is 
  inmiddels een behoorlijke Internet hype aan het worden, en het is 'pretty 
 weird' als je het mij vraagt... 

  Ik ben benieuwd wat het nettime-nl publiek hiervan vindt. 
  En ik ben ook benieuwd waar, hoe, en wanneer dit verder zal opduiken in de 
  conventionele media... Het schijnt donderdagavond al op Euronews geweest te 
 zijn. 

  Dinsdagnacht na de aanval op de U.S.A. hadden we het er op IRC ook al over: 
  Er is iets echt freaky met een zekere "Xinoehpoel" (omgekeerd: Leo Pheonix...) 
  Deze persoon deed op 30 AUGUSTUS 2001 een posting op Usenet in 
  news:alt.prophecies.nostradamus (jaja inderdaad ...die ja...) 

  Deze posting had als topic "911" (het alarm nummer? september 11 ?!?) 

  In het kort komt het er op neer dat Xinoehpoel o.a. zegt dat er iets 
  verschrikkelijks gaat gebeuren, en dat het een soort straf is...En 
  dat je daarna niets meer van hem/haar zal horen... 
  Als er op gereageerd word omdat Xinoehpoel wat vage dingen schrijft, 
  reageert hij weer op 4 SEPTEMBER:

  "Xinoehpoel" is likely to be involved in the terrorist attacks. The 
  nickname "Xinoehpoel" has been used by two different individuals. 
  First by the main suspect, who seems to have "vanished" on Tuesday 
  (!), then by his brother, who now got arrested. During the online 
  discussions it was already clear to the FBI that they were dealing 
  with 2 different individuals, due to the different styles of 
  communicating. Several messages posted by the initial "Xinoehpoel" 
  were later cancelled by his brother, the other "Xinoehpoel", probably 
  being concerned that too much information had been revealed. Euronews 
  didn't mention where the arrest took place, but I am sure that will be 
  in the news later. I find it extremely shocking finding out I've been 
  reading messages from one of the terrorists, making this whole thing 
  more bizarre than it already was. What a sick world we live in.
